FlexiDrive

Through the included remote-control unit, the XR-model can manage mowing on difficult and sloped areas where seated operation is excluded. Switching the machine's driving characteristics from operator seated mode to remote mode is done within 30 seconds. For safety reasons, the machine can only be operated remotely when the operator’s seat is vacant and the remote-control is connected to the machine.

Unique articulated steering

The unique articulated steering system allows the rear pair of wheels to swing in underneath the machine. The result is superior manoeuvrability with a minimum turning radius at full lock.

All-Wheel Drive (AWD)

The machine’s low centre of gravity in combination with the high-performing AWD-system gives excellent slope and hillside stability.

Toolbox for remote-control unit

Mounted on the engine hood rails, the toolbox for remote-control unit is designed to protect the FlexiDrive unit and ensure it stays easily within reach. The toolbox provides protection and space to safely store the transmitter, charger, batteries and neck strap. It can easily be detached when needed.

Hydraulic power steering

Heavy-duty hydraulic-cylinder power steering makes driving less strenuous.

EFI-engine by Kawasaki

Equipped with a Kawasaki EFI-engine with overhead 90° valves. Controls the fuel injection and adjusts the ignition timing to assure maximum engine power with the lowest amount of exhaust emissions and the lowest fuel consumption.

Easy-access controls

Operator environment designed around the user. The control panel is raised with all controls ergonomically positioned for easy access. The most frequently used controls are positioned at the front while controls used less often are positioned further back.

Four large wheels

16-inch wheels both front and back provide optimal riding comfort, great accessibility and less risk of damaging delicate surfaces.

Dual LED lights

Dual LED lights for enlarged lighted area and safer operation in darker conditions. Improved visibility, both near and remote.

Integrated warning lights

Integrated warning lights are positioned at the front and at the rear for 360° visibility and to make bystanders aware that the machine is in operation. The lights can be activated manually from the control panel. Activates automatically when switching to remote mode.

Electric engaged parking brake

Parking brake with electric engagement enables safe handling in seated mode by operator as well as remote mode using the FlexiDrive remote control unit (P 524XR EFI).

Roll Over Protective Structure (ROPS)

The vehicle is equipped with a Roll Over Protective Structure (ROPS) and seat belts certified to five international standards including OSHA and SAE requirements. The ROPS ensures a safe ride for the operator.

Power outlet

Electrical front- and rear outlets for power and control of attachments. Simple installation and only needs to be installed once, fits all attachments requiring electric control. Kit includes power outlet, electric wiring and switches for the control panel (available as separate accessory).

Commercial graded transmission

High-specified variable piston pumps with separate gear boxes for front and rear axle.

Cast iron rear wagon

For improved durability the complete rear wagon is in one piece ductile cast iron.

Improved robustness

The Husqvarna X series facelift features several improvements. These updates include a more reliable, upgraded PTO belt system, a hardwearing foot plate made of corrugated steel sheet and a more compliant and robust pedal system. For greater rigidity and reliability, the position for the cutting height adjustment has also been moved to the cutting deck.
