Description

The STIHL FSA 120 is a battery-powered brushcutter designed for tackling the toughest gardening and landscaping jobs you may face. The FSA 120 is battery powered meaning it has low noise emission – making it ideal for work in noise-sensitive areas such as schools, hospitals and quiet neighbourhoods.

Fitted with a bike handle for comfortable working when cutting tall grass and weeds. The folding clamp makes it quick and easy to adjust the bike handle to the ergonomic position that suits you. The FSA 120 has a powerful brushless EC motor and speed-adjustment on the control handle, which can be set at 2 different speed settings. There is an ECO mode (level 1), for simple tasks such as trimming lawn edges, which results in lower energy consumption for extended battery life. And there is full speed mode (level 2), for mowing thicker grass, which will use more of the battery energy.

BIKE HANDLE

When used in conjunction with a harness, the bike handle enables a smooth mowing action. The bike handle allows the machine to be easily guided, making it ideal for working on large areas and thus reducing fatigue.

SOFT GRIP HANDLE WITH ERGO LEVER

Thanks to the soft grip handle, this tool fits comfortably in your hand. Plus, the grip helps to use the tool in wet weather.

TOOL-FREE HANDLE ADJUSTMENT

SET THE BIKE HANDLE POSITION. You can individually adjust the ergonomic bike handle (mowing handle) using the central clamping device. Thanks to the tool-free handle adjustment, you do not need any tools for this. The bike handle can be rotated 90 degrees for transport and space-saving storage.

EC MOTOR

LOW-MAINTENANCE AND EFFICIENT. Thanks to its compact design, low weight and high efficiency, the EC motor enables you to work in an energy efficient manner. This engine also has a long service life.

SHOULDER STRAP / CARRYING SYSTEM

Using a STIHL shoulder strap or carrying harness with soft padding makes work more comfortable, particularly during lengthy jobs.

The HLA has a special eyelet for use with a shoulder strap.

TOOL MONITORING WITH THE SMART CONNECTOR

INTEGRATION INTO STIHL CONNECTED. The tool is compatible with the Smart Connector, meaning it can be integrated into the STIHL connected system. Once you have attached a Smart Connector to the tool, after one-time commissioning it will record the tool’s operating hours and transmit them to the STIHL connected App via Bluetooth. In addition to displaying the operational time, the app also provides an overview of all necessary maintenance, ensuring that you do not overlook important upkeep and that your tool is always in a ready-to-use condition.

POWER LEVELS

PERFORMANCE SUITABLE FOR THE TASK. You can set 2 different power levels on the handle. Level 1, is Eco mode, which has reduced power to extend the battery life. Level 2 allows you to use the full power of the tool.

CONSTANT POWER

When using other brands of battery tools, the performance can sometimes decrease during work as the battery discharges. This isn’t the case with STIHL battery-powered tools. Thanks to the intelligent electronics, your tool will work with consistently high power across the entire battery charge, until there is no energy left in the battery.

IPX4 CERTIFIED

SPLASHWATER PROTECTION. The AP 200 S is IPX4 certified thanks to the encapsulated electronics and sealing of each individual cell. It means that the battery is protected against splashwater from all sides and can be used in rainy conditions.
